Moms and Dads, your newborn, infant or toddler was born to learn and YOU are your child's first and most influential teacher. If you live in Mesa, Gilbert or Queen Creek and your child is 0-5 years old, MyChild'sReady is a free service available to support you in the most important role of your lifetime, being a parent.
MyChild'sReady offers personal visits to your home, parent group meetings, developmental screenings and resources. You will also receive additional support interacting with your child, guidance and discipline techniques, stress management methods, infant brain development information and support enhancing your family life. Home visits occur at least monthly but can be more frequent as support is needed.

Pregnant or Parent of a Newborn? MyChild'sReady provides information on fetal growth, nutrition, and the physical & emotional adjustments you are/will be experiencing. As a parent of a(n) newborn or infant, you'll learn about your baby's development, cues, care, and feeding & sleep patterns, as well as receive support for your family.

Parent of a Toddler? MyChild'sReady will support you as your child transitions to solid foods, meeting nutritional needs, assist you with parent-child interaction time, dental health, speech, and developmental and growth milestones as your baby starts to talk, crawl, and walk. We can help you manage the "Terrific Twos!"

Parent of a Pre-schooler? Working with a MyChild'sReady parent educator, you will learn games, songs and activities that you can do with your child to support the physical, emotional and verbal development occurring during this age. This includes coping with stress, socialization, temper tantrums, picky eating and much more.

MyChild'sReady is made possible by 
First Things First, approved by Arizona voters, works to ensure that our youngest citizens have access to quality early childhood experiences so they will start school healthy and ready to succeed.
Through a grant provided by First Things First, the Child Crisis Center leads the creation and administration of the MyChild'sReady program. Child & Family Resources, Inc., LeCroy & Milligan Associates, Inc., New Directions Institute for Brain Development and National Center for Parents As Teachers partner with the Child Crisis Center in these activities.
The Child Crisis Center leads the MyChild'sReady Regional Alliance which provides in-home support to parents of children ages 0-5 years. Alliance partners include Arizona Partnership for Children (AzPac), Cardon Children's Medical Center, Child & Family Resources, Inc. and Southwest Human Development.
