Get Yourself Involved
We have opportunities in direct care with children, as class assistants and as administrative support. We ask volunteers to make a one year commitment, working one 2 hour shift each week. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Get Your Group Involved
Direct Care: We welcome groups to visit our shelter and conduct an activity with our children; contact our Volunteer Director at 480.969.2308.
Collection Drives: We love receiving items from our themed wish lists collected as a part of a drive.

Kids are our business, and we find it awesome to see kids supporting kids. Call our Volunteer Director to discuss any of the following ideas or one of your own: birthday boxes, themed collection drives, gift card collection, or birthday present donations.

Become a Volunteer
Our volunteers are crucial to the Center's mission. According to the Independent Sector, the value of 1 hour of volunteer work was $20.25 in 2008. During that year, 14,248 hours were volunteered to the Center by our wonderful supporters. Above and beyond the priceless gift of compassion and caring to our children, our volunteers donated $288,522 worth of time.
All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application, General Volunteer Orientation (GVO), a screening interview and a volunteer training.
To begin the process of becoming a volunteer, you must complete a volunteer application (download here) and bring it to the next General Volunteer Orientation (GVO). Call 480.969.2308 to reserve your spot in the next GVO (dates listed below).
