Applications Being Accepted for:
Behavioral Support Assistant
Hours: Part-Time Monday - Thursday 3pm - 6pm
Salary: Dependent on candidate's relevant work history and educational background
Duties:
- Responsible for set-up and clean-up for Life Skills groups
- Responsible for attendance sheets and group documentation
- Support Group Facilitator in delivery of group curriculum and assist with group activities
- Provide positive reinforcement, direction, and guidance to the children attending the group; utilize behavior management strategies to help the children be successful in the group
- Administrative and child care directed tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR relevant experience
- Must show computer proficiency experience
- Strong writing, verbal and organizational skills are required that will meet the requirements of the position and needs of clients
Respite Care Coordinator
Hours: Part-time to include Saturdays and some hours during the week
Salary: Dependent on candidate's relevant work history and educational background
Duties:
- Responsible for Respite on University programming which includes, but is not limited to development and implementation of appropriate programming
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and scheduling of respite care staff
- Responsible for supervision and annual evaluation of Respite Care Workers
- Oversees the maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of the Respite on University respite care program site
- Responsible for assisting, greeting and registering families or delegating this duty
- Interacts with children utilizing the weekend Respite programming
- Oversees snacks, ordering and meal pick up
- Oversees the opening and set up as well as closing of the respite program
- Responsible for screening and admission to 24 hour Respite
- Oversees the reports and statistical information required by funding sources and Child Crisis Center
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate maintenance of client files
Minimum Requirements:
- Education must consist of Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field and one year experience
- Must have experience in the following computer programs: word processing in a Windows environment, Publisher, and Excel
- Must have experience in supervision
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Behavioral Health Experience a plus
- Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass a CCC driving test
Child Care Specialist
Hours:
Part-time shifts available:
Saturday and Sunday
- 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
- 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Full-time shifts available:
Wednesday through Saturday
- 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
- 9:30 pm to 6:00 am (overnight)
Salary: dependent on work history and educational background
Duties:
- Interacts with children reinforcing concepts presented in class and group
- Admits and discharges children as per Center policy
- Charts on-going observations of children's behaviors
- Takes appropriate actions to protect the well-being of all children at the Center
- Administers and charts all medications as prescribed
- Reports all emergencies, concerns of children and building needs to the appropriate parties
- Guides volunteers in the care and activities of children and promotes positive and professional relationships
- Completes housekeeping duties as assigned
- Assists in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks
- Attends daily staffings, meetings, planning sessions and trainings as required and/or appropriate
- Maintains safety, security and supervision of children at all times
- Participates in classes and groups with children as appropriate
- Assists with upkeep of outdoor play area
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a HS diploma or GED
- 1 year paid or volunteer experience meeting the basic needs of children (other than your own)
- Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass a CCCEV driver's test
- Ability to work evenings/weekends
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of clients
Respite Care Worker
Hours: Part-time with hours on Saturday
Salary: dependent on experience
Duties:
- Interact with children through scheduled activities
- Admit and discharge children as per procedures
- Maintain records, as required
- Take appropriate action to protect the well-being of all children in care
- Administer and chart all medications as prescribed
- Report all emergencies, concerns of children and building needs to the appropriate parties
- Complete housekeeping duties as assigned
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks
- Attend staffings, meetings, planning sessions and trainings as required and/or appropriate
- Maintain safety, security and supervision of children at all times
- Assist with upkeep of building and grounds
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree OR a combination of a high school diploma and two years experience working with special needs children
- Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass a CCC driver's test
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of clients
Family Support Specialist
Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week with required availability for evening hours
Salary: Dependent on candidate's relevant work history and educational background
Duties:
- Conducts home visits to assess family needs and provides supportive home visitation services
- Coaches and mentors parents
- Recognizes and identifies crisis and works with parents and other service providers to reduce or alleviate the severity of the situation
- Arranges and/or provides transportation to medical appointments and to obtain other social services
- Evaluates situations and determines when support from supervisor or other professionals would be beneficial to support families or obtain services
- Makes referrals for community services as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates Degree in social work or related field or Childhood Development Certificate
- In-home support experience
- Bi-lingual capabilities helpful
- Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of clients
